Yes, we recommend that all furniture and personal items are removed from the room before fitting day. If you need help with this, ask about our uplift and removal service.
2. How long does it take to fit carpet or laminate flooring?
It depends on the size and complexity of the space. Most standard rooms take 2–4 hours for carpet and 3–6 hours for laminate.
3. Do I need underlay?
Yes, underlay is essential for carpets and often used with laminate. It improves comfort, insulation, and helps extend the life of your flooring.
4. Can you fit flooring around doors, stairs, and awkward spaces?
Absolutely. Our experienced fitters are trained to cut and shape flooring around all types of edges, corners, and trims.
5. What should I do before the fitters arrive?
Please ensure:
The area is clear of furniture
Old flooring is removed (unless we’re handling it)
Access to power sockets is available
6. Will you dispose of my old flooring?
We can! Just let us know in advance and we’ll include it in your quote under uplift and disposal service.
